Keytech use a combination of on-site probes and agents that constantly monitor the status of the IT infrastructure, checking for issues such as performance problems, servers low on disk space and key services unavailable or not responding in a timely manner. The detected issue is compared to a defined policy and/or threshold and an alert generated to warn the helpdesk of a suspected issue. An email alert is sent to the appropriate resource (including the customer if required) and a ticket logged in the Keytech Helpdesk system for issue tracking and escalation.
This technology also allows improved efficiency by automating many IT services and routine tasks enabling the customer to do more with less.
